Biography Picture.jpg

Robert Melendez began studying music in fifth grade on tuba and later taught himself guitar by ear. Through marching band, jazz band, symphony, and jazz ensembles, he developed a balanced foundation in reading, improvisation, and ensemble performance. That balance between structure and creativity continues to shape how he teaches today.

Robert is a private music instructor serving students ages 6 to 17. He helps children grow not only as musicians, but as confident and emotionally aware individuals. His lessons are designed to meet students where they are, supporting both musical progress and personal development in a calm, encouraging environment.
